Drabble Cascade!

Drabbles, little pieces of imagination made up of exactly 100 words, are fun. Drabbles are also a challenge that we at FB3X have found really help hone our writerly command of language, focusing us on using words with precision, and we'd love to share the joys of this art form with everyone who'd like to play.

Whether you just enjoy reading drabbles, or you want to join in with writing them, or you'd like to leave us some inspiration, read on and join in the adventure!

Every Tuesday, FB3X will be running a Drabble Cascade, where we take a one-word inspiration from our readers (we'd love it if you would like to contribute one-word inspirations, just comment on this post, thank you). To kick off the cascade, we will post a drabble inspired by the word of the week to the FB3X blog.

The Way A Cascade Will Work

To those struck by inspiration (and no you don't have to be a professional writer to join in, anyone can embrace their inner author):

• FB3X will post the first drabble every Tuesday
• Under our drabble you will find a chance to join in the cascade in the form of a linked list
  • Post a drabble to your own blog, or website
  • Then insert a link into the linked list to that drabble for everyone to find (A hint of the genre of your drabble in the title of your post would be appreciated.)
  • There will also be a copy of the linked list code for you to put at the bottom of your own drabble post to encourage others to join in and hence cascade the fun :).

For folks who enjoy reading drabbles: you can then peruse the cascade to your heart's content :).

So What Can You Write?
The simple answer is - anything! Our drabbles here on FB3X will be erotically themed. but feel free to take the inspiration any way you want to, since variety is the spice of life!

This week's drabble has it's own post because it is 18 rated.

We have a new title out today. It has been previously published in the Wittegen Press Giveaway Games Anthologies, but because it is part of an existing published book series (Vampires: The New Age), it is also now available stand alone.

It's a novelette (~12k wds), so a nice quick read full of excitement and action.
