O – Most Outrageous Over-Achiever – Literary Smackdown #AtoZChallenge 2016

O - Literary Smac
Welcome to the letter O and day 15 of the AtoZChallenge 2016. For our Literary Smackdown today we would like you to vote for the Most Outrageous Over-Achiever. Both started young and have built on their formative years. Both are stand-out individuals of their peer groups. Who will you choose? Scroll down to check out the choices.

Who will you vote for in Literary Smackdown

  • Hermione Granger
Here we have the brightest witch of her generation. There is not problem Hermione cannot figure out given enough time and a good library. However, not only is she book smart, she is practical as well, able to put into practice what she learns. Best friend of Harry Potter, better half to Ron Weasley, she is the girl with all the brains. Will you vote for the most accomplished witch?

or

  • Tony Stark
Billionaire, philanthropist and genius. So he might have not started off as well as hoped, a bit of a lad and totally self-centred, PTSD and a personal betrayal changed him. He’s still somewhat self-centred, but he is Iron Man and he is trying to save the planet. He no longer makes weapons for other people and he is heavily invested in renewable energy to save the planet in that way as well. Is an Avenger worth your vote?

What is the AtoZChallenge?

For those who don’t know, the AtoZChallenge is a giant blog hop with thousands of blogs taking part. Every day in April, apart from Sundays, these blogs will post using a letter of the alphabet at a prompt, e.g. A on 1st, B on 2nd etc.
It has been running since 2010 and was thought up by the lovely Arlee Bird who put out a challenge and it has grown and grown since. It is a superb way to meet other bloggers and to have a huge amount of fun.

  1. I have always been an Iron Man fan, and by default Tony Stark. I like that he does not sell weapons any more. In fact one of my favourite Iron Man story lines growing up were the armour wars. He finds out some of his technology was stolen and sold to other criminals, so he searches them out and takes back his technology. I need to find that in a graphic novel.
