Hello and welcome to Free Fiction Friday for May 2019. Every month we give our subscribers a free short story written by one of our authors. We didn’t have one last month because Tasha was publishing free ghost stories every day on her blog – Tasha’s Thinkings.
Our newsletter is run on Mailchimp, so it’s secure and reliable as well as being easy to join and we promise there is no spam. Fill in the form to the right of this post (or at the bottom for mobile users), or click on over to our landing page at Mailchimp and fill in the form there. The links for the latest free short story are in the final welcome email.
Thought – by Natasha Duncan-Drake
Genre: contemporary fantasy A head injury leaves James with more than just a bump on his skull. He’s hearing voices.
Author’s Note: This is a story I have had in my concepts folder for a few years now and it was a joy to finally be able to flesh it out. It was originally designed to be much longer, but that will have to wait for other projects to be finished. I hope you enjoy it.

Just fill in the form to the right of the screen (or below if you are on mobile, or click on over to our Landing Page at Mailchimp) and the links to this month’s story files will be in the welcome email.
Vitalis – by Natasha Duncan-Drake
Genre: horror, sci-fi Hannah won tickets for her and five of her friends to attend the pre-opening, exclusive event for the new Vitalis theme park, the latest enterprise from the phenomenon that is the Vitalis corporation. She is incredibly excited until she gets there and finds it all just a little weird.
Author’s Note: This story was inspired by my recent trip to a certain theme park near Paris that I shall not name. We had a wonderful time, but it was too tempting not to twist it up for a short horror story :).
