                      by Tasha D-Drake Book Title:
Author(s): Tasha D-Drake
Description: The Anti-Christ is coming!

His name is Owen.

Well technically it's Beherit, but that's so last millennium. Aspiring to world domination is just around the corner and his simple life of school is coming to an end ... which is kind of the problem. His best friend David, the local vicar's son, will no longer be there and that makes Owen feel things he doesn't understand. What else is a boy to do, but ask his dad what it all means, even if that dad has horns and his eye on the corruption of humankind?

The premiss of this story could have lead it to be completely farcical. Instead Ms. Duncan-Drake again shows that she has a way with words and provides a tale of an unusual coming of age, with charming characters, that is both amusing and sexy. click here to see all Amazon reviews

A hilarious look at a young man coming into his own, even if it's not quite the way his father planned.

Lovely, funny story with a bit of a "Good Omens" feel to it. click here to see all Smashwords reviews

Chip Off the Old Block?

Excerpt

Just before he had come back to school Owen had hit a growth spurt. What his dad called growing into his role in life, after all the anti-Christ really couldn't look like a shy, bookish historian type. He was supposed to embody all things decadent and hedonistic and, well, bad, and he thought he was getting there slowly. In some ways he rather wanted to be David.

David was tall and dashing with bright blue eyes and he dyed his brown hair black and red. He somehow wore his school uniform as if it was straight off a catwalk and at weekends he had been known to slide into skin tight leather. Frankly he was sin on legs and Owen wished he'd noticed earlier.

David had discovered sex early and had never looked back. Owen knew this because, being his best friend, David had told him all about it. At the time Owen had been rather disinterested, but he was now beginning to regret that. At just eighteen he was still a virgin and David seemed to take protecting his honour as seriously as the business of getting laid at least twice a week.

The anti-Christ being a blushing virgin was faintly ridiculous and he had considered just outright asking to be deflowered a couple of times, but it was awkward. David seemed to be interested in shagging the entire school apart from him. If David's track record was anything to go by, he would have loved and left Smythe before Wednesday teatime and there would be another tick on the chart Owen had in the back of his prep book. He ran the betting pool on David's conquests and had to keep an accurate record.
